nourish thyself is a commentary on the journey out of the darkness that is bulimia.  Only by shedding the light of love and truth on this difficult disorder can we truly heal.  The posts here are, at once, heavy and light, poetic and straight-forward, saddening and hopeful.  We are a species of contrasts are we not?

Thanks for your website.. I really glad that I found it today. I have have ongoing issues with weight and worth and going through a transition stage of loving myself. Which has been the hardest thing for me to do even at the age of 39. I just really want to get it… this time and move forward in my life.
    Thanks again

Thanks for the feedback Julie. The mere fact that you are willing to learn to love yourself tells me that there are beautiful things on your horizon. Your worth lies in the fact that you exist. And you exist because you have a light to shine on this world in a way that only you can. It’s that simple. I send you love! Danielle xoxoxo
